PRESERVE OUR VILLAGE is a group of Concord residents and business people from both sides of Route 2 who want to preserve West Concord from unnecessary and unreasonable or special interest developments.
There are big changes being proposed that will have huge consequences for West Concord. There are a number of new and pending state bills and legislation which will redefine how the state promotes growth and development.
Funding for new highway projects and commuter rail upgrades may alter the character of the West Concord village in ways never foreseen in the existing town Comprehensive Long Range Plan.
Our own Town meeting warrant articles propose more changes which, when added to the above redefinitions in zoning, have the potential to completely rewrite the character of West Concord.
